About EKAIM TECHNOLOGIE

Ekaim Technologie is a French precision-machining group based in the Arve Valley at Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny, Haute-Savoie, specializing in bar turning (decolletage), multi-technology machining and surface treatment. It operates through seven autonomous companies, USIPLUS, MEUNIDEC, ESCODEC, IVALTECH, INODEC, MONNET and PAUL MARCHAND, machining components from 0.4mm to 240mm in diameter across roughly 38,000 square metres of production space and more than 400 machines. The group employs over 400 people and serves the automotive, aeronautics, connector, medical, sports and construction markets. It positions itself as a consolidator of mechanical subcontracting and metal treatment in the region, combining group scale with the flexibility and responsiveness of small specialized units.

Ownership journey

The group was founded in 1999 as MAIKE SAS and grew rapidly through successive acquisitions of precision-engineering businesses concentrated in the Arve Valley. Naxicap Partners backed the company as its historical shareholder, supporting the group from its inception. By the time of its March 2017 rebranding to Ekaim Technologie, the group reported revenue above EUR 100 million and around 650 employees, adopting the new name to distinguish the parent from its Maike Automotive subsidiary. Naxicap exited the investment in 2018 via a trade sale.

Under PE ownership

Under Naxicap's ownership the group pursued a buy-and-build strategy, absorbing multiple machining and surface-treatment companies to reach more than EUR 100 million in revenue and roughly 650 employees by 2017. The 2017 rebranding to Ekaim Technologie formalized this consolidation, grouping the acquired businesses under a single identity while each retained operational autonomy in its own markets. The group broadened its capabilities from bar turning into multi-technology machining and surface treatment, serving diversified end-markets from automotive to medical and aeronautics. Following Naxicap's 2018 exit, the group has continued to operate as a multi-site precision-machining specialist across seven companies in the Arve Valley.
