About CleverConnect

CleverConnect is a Paris-based HR technology company whose SaaS talent-acquisition platform helps European employers attract, engage and screen candidates through a suite of integrated modules covering candidate relationship management, career sites, employee referrals, talent campaigns and video interviewing, more recently extended with an AI-assisted qualification agent. It competes in the European recruitment-software segment, positioning itself as a layer that complements existing applicant-tracking systems rather than replacing them, and differentiates through automation, candidate experience and a Franco-German footprint. The group operates roughly 15 offices across France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Spain with a team of about 180 people, and reports serving more than 1,000 client organizations, including SNCF, Saint-Gobain, LVMH, Orange, Decathlon and EDF. Ownership journey

CleverConnect traces its roots to Meteojob, a French job board founded in Paris in 2010 by Marko Vujasinovic and Anne Perrin, and took its current form in 2018 when Meteojob and the video-interviewing company Visiotalent merged under the CleverConnect brand. In 2020 the company was backed by Citizen Capital, investing through its Fund II, and in 2021 it raised a growth round in which Yttrium invested via its Digital Growth Fund I alongside Sofiouest and Citizen Capital. In 2022 CleverConnect combined with Germany's Talentry to create a Franco-German talent-acquisition champion, folding the acquired brands into a single platform. In 2023 Arkea Capital invested through its We Positive Invest 2 impact fund, extending the syndicate of active backers. These investors remain minority growth shareholders, and no exit or secondary transaction has been recorded.

Under PE ownership

The successive growth rounds funded European expansion and the 2022 combination with Talentry, broadening CleverConnect from a job board and video-screening tool into a unified talent-acquisition suite spanning CRM, career sites, employee referrals, campaigns and interviewing. Under the investment the company scaled to roughly 180 employees and about 15 offices across six European countries, serving more than 1,000 client organizations. In 2024 it restructured into two business units, the CleverConnect European platform and the Meteojob French job board, and it has continued to add AI-assisted capabilities to its qualification and screening workflows. In 2025 CleverConnect obtained B Corp certification with a reported score of 91 out of 100, reinforcing the impact thesis of its backers.
