About ALLVALV DEVELOPPEMENT

Allvalv Developpement is the holding company for Groupe Sud Robinetterie (SRI), a French industrial valves group that designs and manufactures isolation and control valves for demanding fluid applications. Founded in Marseille in 1978, the group began supplying ball valves to local refineries and has built a patented ball-valve design capability alongside gate, globe, check and strainer ranges carried under its Vannes Rigau brand. Its valves serve oil and gas, petrochemical, metallurgy, nuclear, LNG and hydrogen or oxygen applications, sold to end users and EPC contractors internationally. The group manufactures entirely in France from EU-sourced raw materials and exports the large majority of its output, positioning itself as a specialist supplier for high-pressure and high-temperature service rather than a commodity valve maker. It employs roughly 90 people and holds ISO 9001 certification and PED 2014/68/EU module H qualification.

Ownership journey

Groupe Sud Robinetterie traces its origins to Sud Robinetterie Industrie, established in Marseille in 1978 as a ball-valve manufacturer, and expanded its product range in 2005 by acquiring Vannes Rigau, a gate and globe valve maker dating back to 1937. In July 2014 Naxicap Partners acquired the group in a secondary buyout, holding its stake through the Allvalv Developpement vehicle. Naxicap, a French mid-market private equity manager, backed the business as part of its industrials and business services activity, supporting a family and management team with an established export franchise. Naxicap remains the sponsor of record, and no exit or subsequent secondary transaction has been recorded for this ownership leg.

Under PE ownership

Since the 2014 secondary buyout, the group has continued to build its position as an integrated French valve manufacturer rather than shifting production offshore, sustaining full domestic manufacturing and EU raw-material sourcing. It has kept the large majority of its output destined for export markets, reinforcing its reach among international end users and EPC contractors. The product range has been extended and qualified for increasingly demanding sectors, spanning oil and gas, petrochemical, metallurgy, nuclear, LNG and hydrogen or oxygen service, supported by ISO 9001 and PED module H certifications. The combination of the SRI ball-valve line with the Vannes Rigau gate, globe and check portfolio has given the group a broader isolation-valve offering under common ownership.
