About Adikteev

Adikteev is a Paris-based adtech company that operates a demand-side platform dedicated to mobile app re-engagement and retargeting, helping app publishers retain users, reduce churn and grow in-app revenue after the initial install. Its technology pairs a churn-prediction and churn-based bidding engine with programmatic media buying and an in-house creative studio that produces video and playable ads, and it has extended into connected-TV user acquisition and incrementality measurement. The company works with large consumer and gaming apps, and its client roster has included brands such as Bumble, Nike, Twitch, Electronic Arts, King and Blizzard. It has built out data science, engineering and creative teams of more than 100 people across offices in Paris, New York and San Francisco, with a research and development hub historically anchored in Berlin.

Ownership journey

Adikteev was founded in Paris in 2012 by Xavier Mariani, Emilien Eychenne and Frederic Leroy, initially in mobile creative and marketing technology before pivoting to app retargeting and retention. Ventech backed the company from 2013 through its Ventech Europe strategy, supporting early expansion and the acquisitions of Motion Lead in 2015 and the Berlin demand-side platform Trademob in 2017. In February 2018 Ring Capital came in from its Ring Altitude I fund, co-leading a USD 12 million Series B alongside existing investors that funded the company's push into the United States. In 2025 the founders led a management buyout of the business, an exit for both Ventech and Ring Capital, with Agila Capital backing the transaction through its Agila Capital Fund I and remaining an active shareholder.

Under PE ownership

Under its venture backing Adikteev shifted from a broad mobile marketing offering into a focused app re-engagement and retention specialist, using the 2018 Series B to open New York and San Francisco offices and scale its US commercial presence. It absorbed the Motion Lead and Trademob acquisitions to add playable-ad creative technology and a predictive, programmatic buying engine, concentrating roughly a third of its workforce in research and development. The business layered on newer lines including churn-based bidding, connected-TV user acquisition and incrementality measurement, positioning itself around measurable return on ad spend for gaming and consumer apps. The 2025 management buyout returned majority control to the founding team, backed by Agila Capital, giving the company a base to pursue further acquisitions and continue developing its AI-driven predictive architecture.
