About Stride Ventures

Stride Ventures UK Advisors Ltd is the UK and European arm of the Indian-origin venture debt and growth credit platform Stride Ventures. The UK subsidiary was incorporated in 2024, with the related fund vehicle Stride Ventures UK Investments L.P. registered as a Private Fund Limited Partnership on 16 September 2024 at 20 North Audley Street, London. The UK platform is the European hub of a group founded in 2019 by Ishpreet Singh Gandhi in Mumbai, and it formally launched UK and European operations in September 2025 alongside the release of its Global Venture Debt Report co-authored with Kearney. Globally, Stride Ventures had enabled in excess of USD 1.3 billion of credit by the time of the UK launch, making it one of the largest dedicated growth-credit franchises operating across India, the Gulf and now Europe. The firm operates multiple fund vehicles structured around regional pools including GIFT City-domiciled USD funds (Funds I, II and III), an Abu Dhabi Global Market vehicle and a UK and Europe-dedicated growth credit fund anchored on the new London platform. As of the UK launch, the firm communicated a UK investable pipeline of over GBP 100 million.

Investment thesis

Stride Ventures UK and Europe strategy is growth credit and venture debt, providing senior-secured term loans and bespoke debt facilities for late-stage institutionally backed companies, structured as a complement to (rather than a replacement for) equity rounds. The firm pitch to founders is non-dilutive capital between equity rounds, drawing on a playbook proven across more than 140 Indian portfolio companies since 2019. In Europe, sector focus mirrors the high-growth pockets identified in the firm 2025 Global Venture Debt Report: sustainability, deeptech, digital health, fintech and AI, with a particular tilt toward fintech (forecast to capture roughly 47 percent of European venture-debt deployment in 2026) and healthtech and cleantech as the next-largest segments. Geographically, the UK acts as the regional anchor with deal sourcing across the broader European Economic Area. Ticket sizes for European deals have not been individually disclosed though the UK pipeline is sized at over GBP 100 million across multiple late-stage facilities. The limited partner base spans global development finance institutions, sovereign-linked capital from the Gulf and family offices. Value creation rests on structured downside protection, founder-friendly amortisation and operational expertise rather than equity-style governance.

Recent activity

Because the UK and European platform only opened for business in September 2025, the public European deal log is necessarily thin and the firm has not disclosed named portfolio companies for the new London vehicle. The firm has communicated a UK pipeline above GBP 100 million across sustainability, deeptech, digital health, fintech and AI sectors but specific UK closes by company name, sector and year remain undisclosed. Group-level investment cadence (predominantly Indian portfolio) recorded 27 transactions in 2025 across the broader Stride platform. No exits have been recorded for the UK and Europe vehicle. The platform continues to scale UK and European deployment under the Stride Ventures UK Investments LP vehicle. Detailed buyer names and multiple data available on Pro at €29/month.
