Permira is a global private equity firm with more than €80 billion of committed capital as of December 2024 (advancing to €89 billion by end of 2025), headquartered in London with 15 offices globally including Frankfurt, Milan, Madrid, Paris, Luxembourg, Stockholm plus US and Asia hubs. The firm was founded in 1985 as Schroder Ventures Europe before rebranding as Permira in 2001 following its spin-out, and has built deep European brand heritage combined with a strong US footprint.
