Ownership journey

UVE was founded in 2007 by Jordi Vila and remained founder-owned for nearly two decades, with no prior private equity investors on record. On July 31, 2025, Keensight Capital signed an exclusivity agreement with the founders to acquire a majority stake, invested through Keensight Nova V; Keensight lists Uve in its portfolio as a 2025 investment. The founding team continues to lead the business alongside Keensight, which remains the active institutional owner.

Under PE ownership

Keensight's ownership began in 2025, so the institutional chapter is young; the stated mandate is to accelerate international and vertical expansion, both organically and through acquisitions, and to invest further in AI-led innovation across the product suite. At entry, UVE brought roughly 210 employees and over 140 customers spanning Europe, Latin America, Africa and the US, following an internationalisation undertaken under founder ownership that included the 2024 New Jersey office opening. No build-up acquisitions by the company under Keensight ownership have been publicly announced as of June 2026.
