About TwentyFour Seven
TwentyFour Seven is a Madrid-based production services company that manages premium advertising and audiovisual campaigns for global blue-chip brands, handling location scouting, casting, full production and post-production with senior creative talent. Established in 2004, it has built one of the most extensive service-production networks across Iberia and beyond, with offices and on-the-ground crews spanning Spain, Portugal, Poland, Lithuania, Turkey, Italy and several Latin American markets including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay. Its client roster includes names such as LVMH, Nike and Adidas, and it positions itself as a category leader in the European service-production market. The company was named national Business of the Year in 2019 in a revenue band of EUR 26 million to EUR 75 million, per award disclosures.
Ownership journey
TwentyFour Seven was founded in Madrid in 2004 by Ivo Van Vollenhoven, who continues to serve as a managing partner alongside Gordon Mackinnon. In December 2019 Nexxus Iberia, through its Nexxus Iberia Private Equity Fund I, took a stake in the company, marking its first institutional backing and supporting a buy-and-build expansion across Iberia and Latin America. After a five-year hold, Nexxus Iberia exited in August 2024 via a secondary transaction that facilitated a management buyout, with the founders and senior management regaining control. Alongside that transaction, CAPZA supplied a private debt facility through its CAPZA 6 Private Debt strategy from 2024 to support the buyout and further international expansion, and equity control now rests with the founding and management team.
Under PE ownership
Under Nexxus Iberia's ownership the company pursued an active buy-and-build strategy, most notably absorbing the award-winning Spanish production team Smile, whose executives Alvaro Weber and Jonas Hendrix joined as managing partners. The network expanded well beyond its original Iberian base into Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America, giving the group boots on the ground in seven countries by the time of the 2024 buyout. The 2024 recapitalisation, combining a management buyout with preferred capital and a private debt facility from CAPZA, was structured to fund continued international expansion via M&A. Management framed the transaction as a platform to consolidate its position as a category leader in premium service production.
