About Golderos
Golderos is a Madrid-based industrial company that designs, manufactures, repairs and maintains specialized refrigeration and dispensing equipment for the beer sector, supplying chillers, agitator motors and the components needed to install and service draught systems at hospitality points of sale. Originally built around beer cooling, in which it is the recognized Spanish leader, the company has extended its technology to dispensing equipment for other beverages, covering design, production, distribution and after-sales maintenance from its facilities in Madrid. It serves major national and international brewers, with reported customers including Mahou-San Miguel, Damm, AB InBev, Estrella Galicia, Ambar and Super Bock. At the time of its private-equity investment the business reported annual sales in the range of roughly EUR 3 million to 6 million and a workforce of around 25 to 50 employees.
Ownership journey
Golderos was founded in Madrid by Emilio Golderos, roughly four decades before its private-equity investment, and grew into the Spanish specialist in refrigeration and dispensing equipment for the brewing industry, latterly led by Patricia Golderos as chief executive. In the third quarter of 2019 GPF Capital acquired a stake in the group through its GPF Capital II fund, backing a plan to scale the business while the founding Golderos family retained an ownership position in the company. GPF Capital remains an active shareholder and Golderos is still listed as a current portfolio company, with no exit or secondary transaction recorded.
Under PE ownership
The 2019 investment was framed around an ambition to roughly double the size of Golderos, executing a national and international expansion plan across manufacturing, distribution and service. GPF Capital positioned the company to widen its commercial reach beyond its established base of Spanish and international brewers and to extend its dispensing technology from beer toward a broader range of beverages. The founding family's continued involvement alongside the sponsor was intended to preserve operational expertise while professionalizing the platform for growth. As of the latest available disclosures the holding remains active, with the expansion agenda still in progress.
