About Globaim
Globaim is a Madrid-based insurance claims consulting firm that acts as an independent technical adviser to policyholders, corporates and brokers on high-value and complex claims. Operating from Pozuelo de Alarcon, it structures its work across six divisions, Construction and Infrastructure, Industry and Energy, Property, Business Interruption and Cyber, Risk Engineering, and Valuations, combining loss adjusting, damage assessment, business-interruption analysis and expert-witness reports for disputes and arbitration. Its senior specialists, including engineers, architects and economists, are positioned to handle claims in more than 50 countries and to serve both large corporations and smaller companies as advisers who are independent from insurers. The firm targets the peritaje and claims-consulting market across Europe, the Mediterranean arc and Latin America, presenting itself under the banner "Partners in claim."
Ownership journey
Globaim was launched in 2026 by Miura Partners, a Spanish private-equity firm based in Barcelona and Madrid, as a newly created platform rather than the buyout of an existing business. Miura backed the venture through Miura Fund IV, building the company around Oscar Rodriguez Vera, a specialist with some 30 years of experience in the sector, together with more than a dozen professionals drawn from complex international claims work. The project was conceived as a buy-and-build platform intended to consolidate a fragmented market for independent technical advice on insurance claims. Miura Fund IV remains the active backer and no exit or secondary transaction has been recorded.
Under PE ownership
Because Globaim was created rather than acquired, the investment thesis centred on standing up a new reference platform in claims consulting and surveying and then scaling it. From launch the company was structured around six specialised divisions and staffed with senior engineers, architects and economists to address high-impact and technically complex claims. The stated growth plan is expansionary, combining acquisitions of specialist firms, recruitment of technical talent and the opening of regional offices across Europe, the Mediterranean arc and Latin America. As a 2026 platform launch, its trajectory is defined by this build-up strategy rather than by a track record of reported operating results.
