EnergieTeam is a French renewable-energy company that develops, owns and operates onshore wind farms, alongside a growing solar photovoltaic and storage portfolio, ranking as one of the country's largest independent wind operators. In November 2023 the company was backed by SWEN Capital Partners, investing through its SWEN Infra Multi-Select 4 infrastructure fund, an entry framed around France's energy-transition needs and the group's regulatory and technical moat. SWEN's investment team on the deal includes Managing Director Thibault Richon with Investment Directors Anselm Eltz and Lorenzo Paracchini. SWEN remains an active shareholder and EnergieTeam is still listed as a current portfolio company; no exit or secondary transaction has been recorded.

The 2023 investment was positioned to support EnergieTeam's transition from a developer and operator toward an integrated independent power producer, securing output through long-term power purchase agreements with creditworthy counterparties. Since the backing, the group has continued to expand the base it operates, passing the milestone of more than 100 monitored wind parks and pushing managed capacity above 1.4 GW, with owned capacity growing toward the region of 580 MW. Management has pointed to a secured development pipeline of roughly 2.3 GW in wind and 1.9 GW in solar targeted by 2035, extending the company beyond wind into solar and storage. The strategy aligns the portfolio with EU Taxonomy sustainability criteria, with operations described as fully eligible under that classification.
