About Digitrips
Digitrips, formerly the MisterFly Group, is a Paris-based travel-technology company that distributes flights, hotels and holiday packages through proprietary booking and connectivity software. It sells across three channels: direct to consumers through its MisterFly flight platform, business to business through DIGITRIPS Pro for travel agencies, tour operators and travel management companies, and business to business to consumer through white-label partnerships with retailers and loyalty programs. The group aggregates content from more than 100 airlines via GDS and NDC, alongside hotel and car-rental inventory, and counts Carrefour Voyages, Leclerc Voyages, Verychic and Paris Aeroport among its clients. Roughly 90 percent of revenue is generated through B2B channels serving more than 5,000 professional clients, and the group reports having sold travel to more than five million passengers.
Ownership journey
The company was founded in 2015 in Paris by Nicolas Brumelot and Carlos Da Silva, both travel-distribution entrepreneurs, initially as the online flight retailer MisterFly. In June 2016 Montefiore Investment backed the business through its Montefiore IV fund, taking a position to support its build-up in travel technology. Montefiore remains an active shareholder and the company is still listed in the firm's portfolio, with no exit or secondary transaction recorded. Chief executive Nicolas Brumelot has publicly credited Montefiore's off-market sourcing and network for supporting the company's development.
Under PE ownership
Under Montefiore's ownership the company shifted from a single flight-retail brand into a broader travel-technology group assembled through acquisitions, adding hotel sourcing with H-Resa, hotel connectivity through Koedia and mobile expertise via mTrip, alongside the Idiliz packages brand. It expanded its product set with flexible-ticket features such as FLEX in 2019 and later FREEZE price-locking in 2025, plus Hotel Direct Access and Dynamic Package tools for B2B partners. In 2022 the group rebranded from MisterFly Group to Digitrips, signalling a strategic pivot toward B2B and B2B2C distribution built on its proprietary connectivity software. Headcount has grown to roughly 250 employees, and the group has pushed into new markets including Latin America as it exports its B2B connectivity model.
