AC-Dismantling is a French industrial company that handles, dismantles and recycles end-of-life aircraft weighing under 30 tonnes, drawn mainly from general and business aviation. Operating an aircraft recycling centre in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, it manages the full cycle from removal of grounded or non-flying airframes through inertization, asbestos diagnosis and removal, methodical deconstruction, deregistration and the redistribution of recovered parts and materials into reuse and circular-economy channels. Its founder describes the business as the only operator in Europe dedicated to dismantling and recycling small general and business aviation aircraft, positioning it in the aerospace decarbonisation and end-of-life segment. The company currently processes about five aircraft a year and has set out a path to roughly double that capacity before eventually reaching a cadence of one aircraft per week.

Ownership journey

AC-Dismantling was founded in 2022 by Anthony Charmarty, an aeronautical mechanic, on the conviction that aircraft end-of-life is an industrial problem requiring rigorous, traceable methods. The company passed through the French Tech Tremplin programme and was supported by the Bordeaux Technowest incubator, and in April 2025 it relocated its operational activities to Pau airport ahead of a planned expansion. It closed a EUR 2.7 million financing round, finalised at the end of 2025 and announced in March 2026, backed by Clint Capital investing through its FPCI Blueberry seed vehicle, alongside co-investors and regional and public partners. Clint Capital came in as a minority venture backer rather than a controlling owner, and the fund remains an active shareholder with no exit or secondary transaction recorded.

Under PE ownership

The EUR 2.7 million raised was earmarked for acquiring specialised equipment, increasing treatment capacity, structuring the company's production tools and consolidating its dismantling methods. Since the investment, AC-Dismantling has pursued new certifications and additional authorisations, opening its activity to military and foreign aircraft beyond its original civil general-aviation base. The company set out plans to recruit around 25 new employees over three years to support the scale-up of its Pau operations. Its stated operating goal is to lift throughput from roughly five aircraft per year toward one per week as the new capacity and methods come online.
